Bid Now, Celebrity Corset Auction Begins Friday, October 26

The corset madness has begun. And the beginning of all took place among Hollywood's hottest celebrities. Jessica Biel, Scarlett Johansson, Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria and Christina Aguilera are the fine examples.

They have all lent their celebrity status, teaming up with well known retailer of lingerie in the United States, Frederick's of Hollywood, to design corsets, which will be auctioned off to benefit charity Clothes Off Our Back.

Put their own personal touches on the classic lingerie, those celebrities will have their designed corsets auctioned off Friday October 26th at Frederick's flagship store in Hollywood. And while a normal corset can range anywhere from $60-$100, Erin Dominguez from Frederick's of Hollywood said they expect a much higher price for those celebrity designs.

"In previous years we got $18,000 for Charlize Theron's corset and $10,000 for Nicole Kidman's and each year we set the bar higher and hope to get more," Dominguez told Access Hollywood. As of this year, Johansson's corset is expected to be a big draw.

"I think you should bid on any and all of them frankly," said Emmy Award-winning Julianne Moore who's one of the participants.

Hudson and Robinson, The Black Crowes frontman, married on New Year's Eve 2000. The couple separated in August 2006 amid rumors that Hudson was romantically involved with her "You, Me and Dupree" co-star Owen Wilson. Following their break up, she then shortly dated actor Dax Shepard.

Robinson filed for divorce on November 17, 2006 in L.A. Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. The couple had a prenup and Robinson did not seek spousal support. They will, in addition, share joint custody of son, Ryder Russell Robinson.

The Playing for Good Foundation Postponed Paris Hilton's Upcoming Trip to Rwanda

It appears that Paris Hilton will have to wait for the right time to bring her celerity status to Rwanda. The Playing for Good Foundation, which initially invited her to make the visit, announced Thursday October 25th the cancellation of the highly anticipated trip.

"Due to the restructuring of the Playing for Good Foundation, the philanthropic trip to Rwanda that the foundation had previously planned with Paris Hilton has been postponed," the organization said in a statement.

"Paris has been a loyal and gracious supporter of Playing For Good but the foundation has to regrettably reschedule this trip. Playing for Good would like to thank Ms. Hilton for her generosity and her continued support of this initiative and is looking forward to rescheduling the trip with her at a later time," the organization went on adding.

Paris announced last month she'll be going to Rwanda in November after finishing work on her movie, "Repo! The Genetic Opera," upon being invited by Scott Lazerson of Playing for Good organization, which he helped found in 2006 to help high-end business and entertainment personalities become involved in a variety of charities benefiting children and families in need.

Britney Spears' Hit and Run Charges Paid Off

Running from one legal trouble to another, Britney Spears must be feeling very happy now that one of the hit and run charges against her has been dropped.

Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Susan Speer has on Thursday October 25th dismissed a misdemeanor hit-and-run charge against Spears after being informed by the star's lawyer Michael Flanagan that his client already reached a cash settlement with Kim Robard-Rifkin, whose 1999 Mercedes-Benz station wagon Spears hit on August 6th in a San Fernando Valley parking lot.

On the settlement it is reported that Spears has agreed to pay Robard-Rifkin approximately $1,000 for damages. Facing one count each of hit-and-run and driving without a valid license stemming from the incident, Speer declined to drop the latter charge though.

Thus, Flanagan will have to enter a not guilty plea on Spears' behalf. A pretrial hearing regarding the license issue was scheduled for November 26th. That's the same day Spears is due to appear in her custody case for a progress hearing on her parenting classes.

Milo Ventimiglia Gave Hayden Panettiere an 18-Karat Yellow-Gold Ring as a Belated Birthday Present

It's just a matter of time, I guess, for Milo Ventimiglia and Hayden Panettiere to finally make their romance public. Amidst their stern denials of romance, the actor reportedly has presented the beauty with an 18-karat yellow-gold ring which is meant as a belated birthday present.

According to "In Touch," the Tiffany & Co. ring which is called Somerset Heart features a woven band and a heart and Ventimiglia had it inscribed with the words "Sweet like Hayden." The ring reportedly worth $1,950.

While the ring may very well be a platonic gift between friends, we are pretty sure that it isn't just any ring.

Hayden turned 18th back on August 21st. She and Ventimiglia are co-stars in the NBC series "Heroes." They began dating rumors following her split from former boyfriend Stephen Colletti after more than one year of dating.

Hayden and Ventimiglia fueled the rumors with their being snapped walking arm-in-arm outside of HBO Emmy after-party last month. That's not all, they were later on also video taped got cozy on the dance floor at an Emmy Awards party on September 16th.

No Lindsay Lohan, the Hiltons Are the Only Hosts for the New Year's Eve Bash at LAX

Worry no more. Lindsay Lohan won't be hosting the highly anticipated New Year's Eve bash at Lax. Earlier report on her going to do so is 100 percent false.

Talk is heating up just yesterday that Lindsay has been tapped to host a New Year's Eve party at Las Vegas hot spot LAX. She, as reported by Us Weekly, actually isn't really happy with that scheduled gig, yet reluctantly willing to do it because "she's contractually obligated."

Lindsay is said to be agreed to take the job because she wants to pay back the "hundreds of thousands of dollars" she earned by agreeing to host her 21st birthday in Sin City at PURE Nightclub (which, like LAX, is owned by Pure Management Group), which she had to cancel following her undergoing treatment at the Promises facility in Malibu back in July, a source told Us Weekly.

In fact, a rep for the venue has been telling OK! magazine that LiLo won't be hosting LAX for New Year and instead confirmed that Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton will be in hand. "We only know that Paris and Nicky Hilton are hosting the NYE party at LAX, and as far as I know they're the only hosts," the representative said in a statement.

Finally, Close-Up Looks of Aliens vs. Predator - Requiem's Predalien!

At last, shadows have ultimately been lifted from the Predalien face for now we have two clear, close-up images of the key creature in the upcoming "Aliens vs. Predator - Requiem", many thanks to USATODAY.com.

From both pictures, one of which you can see on the above left, we can spot that the hybrid extraterrestrial being still has the scary face of an Alien aka Xenomorph though it does take on some of the characteristics of a Predator, in this case its cool dreadlocks. A Xenomorph born from a Predator host, it is described to be typically much stronger than Aliens born from human hosts and can just regurgitate in its victim's mouth.

Besides the two photos, USATODAY.com delightfully brings three other production stills from the movie which you can grab below. What's more, the site also posts its interview with pic's directors, brothers Greg and Colin Strause, who eagerly shared bit info on the action thriller sci-fi, stating they are using just twelve costumed aliens for the movie.

"You're not going to see 50 digital creatures running around," Greg Strause remarked. "We want to bring the franchise back to basics."

New Wonder Woman Is Teresa Palmer?

The Amazon princess could have an Australian beauty as her portrayer. Moviehole.net has just brought in an interesting scoop saying Teresa Palmer has won the coveted part of Wonder Woman in Warner Bros. Pictures' fast-tracking "Justice League of America."

The site reveals it obtained the info from the director of one of the blond starlet's most recent movies while also learning about the casting from an 'Advertiser' newspaper in Adelaide. Same tidbit can be found on Australia's The Daily Telegraph as well with a friend of Palmer being quoted to get "rung at 2 am this morning" by the actress on her success to secure the role.

"Apparently they're going to have her fitted out with a black wig rather than dye her hair," the friend added.

Palmer, who most recently appeared in Daniel Radcliffe-starrer "December Boys", made her big screen debut in local production of "2:37" before appearing in "The Grudge 2" as an American schoolgirl named Vanessa. She initially was billed to be the female lead in Doug Liman's "Jumper" but later got replaced by Rachel Bilson.

The site further informs production will start in mid-February next year in Prague and Los Angeles. To meet the schedule, this could only mean that scribe Stuart Beattie has to quicken his pace in finishing his script revisions before the intended Writers Guild of America's strike at the end of this month.

Based on Hasbro's line of action figures, "Joe" has already got "The Mummy" helmer Stephen Sommers on board to direct and Lorenzo di Bonaventura as the producer.
